Ex-Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel would jump at the chance to manage the German national team if Hansi Flick departs following a World Cup group stage exit, writes Christian Falk.
Tuchel was fired mid-season by the Blues earlier this year and appears eager to get back into a dugout as soon as possible

Aston Villa are hoping to sign Switzerland international Djibril Sow, who has impressed at World Cup 2022.
West Ham are also keen on Sow but both clubs have been warned it will taken an "insane offer" to land the midfielder, according to Sport 1.
Eintracht Frankfurt hope to keep hold of Sow and will demand at least €30 million for his services in the January transfer window.
Barca want De Jong to take pay cut
Barcelona will once again try to get midfielder Frenkie de Jong to take a pay-cut at the Camp Nou, according to Sport.
The Catalans are hoping to negotiate a new deal at a reduced rate which would then make room on the wage bill to allow the club to bring in a right-back in January.
If the club are unable to find an agreement then they will listen to offers for the Dutchman at the end of the season.

Serie A side Roma are keen on signing Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu on a free transfer at the end of the season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Jose Mourinho's side are confident of landing Soyuncu and he could replace Chris Smalling in the capital.
Newcastle receive loan offers for Garang
Newcastle United have been "inundated" with loan offers for Australian wonderkid Garang Kuol, according to The Telegraph.
Kuol has not even arrived at the club yet, as he's due to move in January, but is expected to be loaned out for the second half of the 2022-23 season.
Newcastle are considering sending him on loan to a club either in Germany or Poland. Kuol could also head out to a Championship side next season if the club feel it's best for his development.
Real Madrid to offer €90m for Gvardiol
Real Madrid are willing to offer RB Leipzig €90 million for Croatia international Josko Gvardiol, reports Alfredo Pedulla.
The defender is wanted to strengthen the defence at the Santiago Bernabeu, but RB Leipzig may ask for €100m.
Wolves might sign Cunha and Felipe from Atletico
Wolverhampton Wanderers are on the verge of signing Atletico Madrid's Brazilian pair of Matheus Cunha and Felipe, according to Cadena COPE's Pedro Morata.

West Ham agree terms with Luizao
West Ham are set to sign Sao Paulo defender Luizao, according to UOL.
The 20-year-old defender will undergo medical in the next few days before signing his stadium with the Premier League club.
Other clubs like Fulham and Benfica were also keen to get the services of the player.
United keen to get Oblak
Manchester United want to sign Atletico Madrid's Jan Oblak in the January transfer window, according to Fichajes.
The Red Devils want to get a new shot-stopper and are also monitoring the progress of Benfica's Odysseas Vlachodimos and Borussia Monchengladbach's Yann Sommer.
David De Gea's contract is set to end the next summer but the club have the option to extend it by a year.
Rabiot might head to Premier League
Adrien Rabiot is keen to move to the Premier League next summer after his Juventus contract expires in June.
"I feel attracted by the football, by the Premier League itself and its super competitive nature," Rabiot told ESPN.
"I loved my time there, even if I was young. I liked the culture and the life; my family liked it too. I am not indifferent to playing in England, but there will be many options to consider.
"I have not spoken with Juve about the future, for example as our start to the season was tough, plus the World Cup was coming and I wanted to focus on it.
"After the World Cup, I will start thinking about my future more concretely."
The French international was close to joining Manchester United in the summer but did not agree on personal terms with the Premier League outfit.

Nicolo Schira has weighed in on the major news surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo's potential move to Al-Nassr, claiming the 37-year-old is 'one step away' from joining the club.
News broke on December 4 that Ronaldo was close to agreeing to join the Saudi side, with transfer journalist Schira adding to the developing story that a €500M deal over 30 months should be complete in the next few days.
He adds that Ronaldo waited for an approach from a top club, but with no official bids coming in, has agreed to head to Saudi Arabia.
