Commentary

Morocco can celebrate a big victory that will be welcomed across the Arab world. Belgium's golden generation are in the last-chance saloon. That's all for now. Goodbye!
Morocco's win sends them top of Group F for now, a point above Belgium. They're undefeated in their last three World Cup games and look like a very hard team to beat. They've got a great chance of making it into the last 16. Belgium face an uphill struggle to qualify now as they face Croatia in their last group match.
Magnificent Morocco can enjoy their moment! The North Africans have fully merited this victory over a stilted Belgium side. The Atlas Lions were defensively resolute and scored through Sabiri's free-kick as the Belgians failed to learn from Ziyech's ruled-out goal. The Red Devils froze, and Aboukhlal picked them off to seal a famous win.
90' + 6' FULL-TIME: BELGIUM 0-2 MOROCCO
A. Sabiri
Yellow Card
90' + 5' Sabiri picks up a late yellow card for clattering Vertonghen. He won't care much. Morocco have done it!
90' + 4' Courtois claims a long pass upfield. There's no question that Morocco fully deserve this. Belgium have been sluggish at best.
H. Ziyech
Assist
90' + 2' Belgium were caught all at sea there, and Ziyech wriggled into the right of the box to find Aboukhlal. This will be a huge result for Morocco!
Z. Aboukhlal
Goal
90' + 2' GOAL! BELGIUM 0-2 MOROCCO! Aboukhlal seals the three points for Morocco! Belgium don't deal with Munir's goal-kick, and the Toulouse forward fires into the roof of the net from Ziyech's cutback!
90' + 1' Alderweireld looks for De Ketelaere from the right and gets the ball in all wrong. Martinez urges his team to relax, but it's a bit late now.
90' Trossard's beaten in the air in Morocco's box. Walid Regragui's team are defending wonderfully. They're able to counter and Hamdallah shoots at Courtois to force their first corner of the game. There'll be at least five minutes of added time.
88' Trossard finds the angle for a cross from the left. It's headed away. Belgium rush to test Morocco's defence again and send the ball bouncing harmlessly out of play.
86' De Bruyne pings a cross in the direction of Lukaku, but the big striker gets beaten in the air. Morocco are in no mood to let Belgium score now.
85' Ziyech ventures wide left and sends Hamdallah scampering through the middle. Trossard gets back to cover and clear.
84' Morocco have switched to a 5-4-1 formation. They'll no doubt be happy to hold onto the goal they've got. They look more than capable of doing it too.
82' Vertonghen nods wide from Belgium's latest corner. Martinez's men are running out of time to salvage this situation.
R. Lukaku
T. Meunier
81' Belgium go for broke, bringing on Lukaku up front. Meunier is sacrificed.
80' Ziyech charges into a challenge with Witsel, catching the Belgium midfielder with a high foot. A free-kick is all Belgium get.
79' A quick note on Sabiri's goal. It's Morocco's first ever direct free-kick goal at the World Cup. How huge a goal it would be for the Atlas Lions if they can hang on for the win!
J. El Yamiq
A. Ounahi
78' Morocco substitution. On comes El Yamiq, a centre-back. Off goes Ounahi.
77' Belgium have realised they're up against it now. The Red Devils win a corner which gets cut out. De Bruyne sends a guided cross towards De Ketelaere at the far post. Morocco's centre-backs successfully stop the substitute from reaching it.
L. Trossard
T. Hazard
75' Belgium react instantly to going behind. Trossard replaces Thorgan Hazard.
C. De Ketelaere
M. Batshuayi
75' Batshuayi gets the hook too, having achieved little against the Moroccan defence. De Ketelaere enters the fray.
R. Saïss
Goal
73' GOAL! BELGIUM 0-1 MOROCCO! Sabiri gives Morocco the lead with a carbon-copy free-kick to Ziyech's earlier, except from the opposite side! Again, the North Africans crowd out Courtois, but there's no offside this time!
A. Sabiri
Assist
73' Assist Abdelhamid Sabiri
A. Hamed Allah
Y. En-Nesyri
73' En-Nesyri leaves the pitch too. He's been less effective. Hamdallah takes his place up front.
Z. Aboukhlal
S. Boufal
73' Boufal's lit up the game at times, but he's run out of legs. Aboukhlal comes on for him.
71' Attiat-Allah powers towards the left corner flag and draws a clumsy foul from Meunier. Morocco will make more substitutions before they take the free-kick.
69' Ounahi is urged to shoot from range by the Moroccan fans. He soon wishes he hadn't listened, as his thumper is nowhere near the target.
A. Sabiri
A. Hakimi
68' Substitution Achraf Hakimi Mouh Abdelhamid Sabiri
Y. Attiat-Allah
S. Amallah
67' Hakimi is the first Moroccan player to head off, having faded since his shot earlier. Attiat-Allah is his replacement.
67' Batshuayi takes too long to shoot from the centre of the box. By the time he does, he's closed down and the ball loops up for Munir.
65' Mertens skips past a few Moroccan defenders and blasts straight at Munir from inside the D. The Moroccan goalkeeper is well placed to make a save. That's the sort of magic that Belgium have been lacking.
64' Batshuayi is offside as he goes for an aerial ball. Boufal twists this way and that to float a cross over the box. He hooks Hakimi's follow-up cross back across goal, and Vertonghen makes a vital header to stop En-Nesyri from nodding home.
62' Mazraoui unwisely drags the ball wide from distance. He's never going to beat Courtois from that far out.
D. Mertens
E. Hazard
60' The out-of-sorts Eden Hazard also makes way. Mertens takes his place on the pitch.
Y. Tielemans
A. Onana
60' Onana's game is indeed over. Tielemans replaces the booked midfielder for Belgium.
59' Onana shows good awareness to put paid to Ziyech's run down the right. It might be his last action of the game.
58' En-Nesyri can't master a long ball forward and Belgium sweep up. The Red Devils are preparing changes.
57' Boufal drops a shoulder to enter the box and opens up his body to angle the ball towards the bottom right corner. He isn't too far from finding it either.
56' Both teams are looking more energetic since the break. Tackles are flying in, and neither team can gain control in midfield.
54' Thorgan Hazard's cross from the left gets intercepted by Amrabat. There've been more shots on target since the start of the second half than we saw in the whole of the first.
53' Onana can't keep his header down from the corner. Vertonghen is frustrated as he was in a better position to test Munir from it.
52' The game's getting livelier now. Eden Hazard lets rip from the right of the box and forces Munir into tipping the ball out for a corner.
50' Eden Hazard gives the ball away and Morocco counter. Ziyech shifts the ball onto his left foot and fires at goal from outside the D. Courtois makes a comfortable save.
48' Morocco earn a free-kick down their right. Ziyech swings it in but it doesn't trouble the Belgian defence.
46' Morocco get the second half started. They'll be confident they can nick a win here if Belgium stay subpar.
14 of the 26 games at this World Cup have been goalless at half-time. This hasn't been a classic, by any stretch, but Morocco will be pleased with how they've kept things tight in the opening 45 minutes. It's not pretty to watch, but it's working for them. Belgium will have to improve in the second half to beat them.
Belgium breathe a sigh of relief as they go in at half-time. The Red Devils have had plenty of possession but haven't really tested a stubborn Morocco side. The Moroccans will be sad not to have the lead as Ziyech's goal was ruled out for offside. More to come!
45' + 5' HALF-TIME: BELGIUM 0-0 MOROCCO
45' + 4' NO GOAL! BELGIUM 0-0 MOROCCO! The referee heads over to the pitchside monitor and rules the goal out for offside. Saiss had just mistimed his run as he challenged for Ziyech's ball in.
45' + 2' GOAL! BELGIUM 0-1 MOROCCO! It's a fantastic strike from Ziyech! The Chelsea winger goes straight for goal from the free-kick, beating Courtois with a wicked effort at his near post. A few Moroccan players were there to cause confusion. Hang on! It's being checked by VAR...
45' Ziyech gets chopped down by Thorgan Hazard down Morocco's right. They get a free-kick as we enter one minute of additional time.
43' Onana turns away from his marker to take Belgium forward, but they soon lose out. Morocco are proving a tough nut to crack.
41' Lukaku is getting ready to come on down on the touchline. Belgium would surely benefit from his presence up front.
39' Saiss gives De Bruyne the chance to whip in another free-kick from the left. The midfielder does just that, as his attempt at goal dips onto the roof of the net.
38' Belgium are far too ponderous with the ball as things stand. Amrabat harries Onana and gives a foul away.
36' Belgium force a corner up the other end of the pitch as De Bruyne's shot gets blocked. Munir confidently punches it away.
35' Chance for Morocco! Hakimi races in behind Belgium's backline. The right-back has no support so decides to go for goal himself, blasting high and wide from the right of the box.
33' Munir gathers Meunier's low centre from the right which Batshuayi is racing to reach.
31' Morocco are only growing in confidence as this first half goes on. Belgium look short of ideas.
30' Ziyech lofts the ball towards the penalty area from the free-kick. It's a poor delivery which goes out of play.
A. Onana
Yellow Card
28' Onana's shown the game's first yellow card for that challenge. He'll miss Belgium's next game against Croatia.
28' Onana goes into a aerial challenge with Ounahi and leads with his arm. The referee eventually stops play for a Moroccan free-kick.
27' Morocco are starting to cause Belgium more problems. Amallah blazes over on the volley from the edge of the box.
26' Ziyech strays offside. The linesman's flag goes up against him.
24' After enduring some early pressure, Morocco are starting to find a foothold in the game. Belgium aren't finding their opponents easy to break down.
22' Meunier catches Boufal from behind in Morocco's half. The Atlas Lions gratefully accept the free-kick.
21' Morocco are making some progress going forward. Ziyech curls a left-footer way over from distance.
19' Meunier gets a shooting opportunity from the edge of the box, firing straight into the arms of Munir. Belgium have had 76 per cent of possession so far.
17' Morocco survive the corner as Onana heads off target. They're having to deal with lots of Belgian set pieces, but they're holding their own at the moment.
16' It's another Belgian free-kick, this time from the left. Thorgan Hazard plays it to Eden Hazard, who lays off for De Bruyne to strike it. It's a clever move which gives Belgium another corner.
14' Morocco see this latest Belgian corner out. The North Africans are showing the defensive solidity that got them that earlier draw against Croatia.
13' This corner's taken short before Belgium send the ball into Morocco's box. Saiss heads out for another corner. Munir is coming from behind him to catch it, but the defender's not to know that.
12' De Bruyne lifts the free-kick towards the far post. Morocco win the header to hand Belgium a throw-in. Eden and Thorgan Hazard combine to earn Belgium a corner down their left.
11' There's strong support for Morocco in the stadium, as Belgium are getting whistled every time they have the ball. The Red Devils earn a free-kick down their right. De Bruyne and Thorgan Hazard discuss which of them will take it.
9' Belgium keep the ball in their own half, trying to draw the Moroccans forward. They resist the bait, and a crossfield pass intended for Meunier goes astray.
7' Belgium's corner is flicked behind for another corner kick from the opposite side. Thorgan Hazard's delivery is kept alive by Eden Hazard. His brother Thorgan can't control his pass, and Morocco clear.
5' Saiss' hopeful ball in from the left gets intercepted. Belgium counter and Batshuayi gets the game's first shot on target, latching onto Thorgan Hazard's throughball to fire at goal. Munir races out to block the shot and hand the Belgians a corner.
3' En-Nesyri stays down after taking an accidental whack in the face from the arm of De Bruyne. Thankfully the Sevilla striker soon gets back to his feet.
1' Belgium get this Group F match underway, their 50th match at the World Cup finals! They're in red and black, Morocco in white. There's a late change to Morocco's lineup, as Munir replaces Bounou in goal.
1' Ziyech races down the right and flings an early cross into Belgium's box. Courtois has it covered.
Belgium will be hoping for a better performance this time out. They've never lost a World Cup match against an African nation, with all those meetings coming in the group stage. Morocco were victorious the last time these two sides met, winning 4-1 in a friendly in 2008. Will the Atlas Lions repeat the trick here?
Morocco keep the faith with the same 11 that started their solid draw with Croatia. Mazraoui is fit to start after going off on a stretcher in that game.
Belgium boss Roberto Martinez makes three changes to his team from their fortunate 1-0 win over Canada. Meunier, Onana and Thorgan Hazard come into the starting lineup.

With just one goal in its opening two fixtures, Group F has yet to truly catch alight. Early group toppers Belgium can cement their position with a victory which would see them become the first side to win nine consecutive World Cup group games.
