Gareth Southgate has alternative options at his disposal for Euro 2024 qualification duty and a friendly date with Scotland, but Liverpool will be worried about losing Alexander-Arnold for a prolonged period of time. Liverpool have confirmed that Alexander-Arnold will undergo a scan in a bid to discover the full extent of his injury, but Klopp is hoping for good news. He said when asked for an update on the Reds’ home-grown star: “I don’t know exactly. I asked him, he said it’s [his] hamstring. 'Not too serious’ is his opinion, but we obviously have to wait for the scans and then we will know more.”
